With 30 years of experience in the construction of clay courts, we have developed an exclusive construction method for these courts. This technique involves adding a 5 cm layer of absorbent material beneath the crushed brick system. This absorbent layer acts like a sponge, quickly soaking up water during rainy periods. It also maintains a good level of moisture during the hot summer months, which helps improve the quality of the courts during dry spells.

Clay courts require regular and significant maintenance to maintain optimal surface quality. The maintenance is divided into three main phases:
Spring : clean the court, add crushed brick 0/2, level the court and roll it
Regular maintenance : Moss treatment, addition of clay if necessary, repositioning of the lines, and daily watering (2 to 3 times per day for a few minutes).
Fall/winter: leaf cleaning, removal of the net, preventive moss treatment, placement of blocks on the lines, and flushing of the irrigation system.
For an even distribution of clay court and a high-quality court, it is important to pass the drag net after each use.
It is important to follow the direction of passage prescribed by Maton Sports to avoid pushing the clay off the court, but instead, to bring it back towards the center.
