Another form of clay court for all the seasons !

Homologated by the Tennis Federation, the strength of the FRENCH COURT coating is in the stability of its mats (same color as the clay court).

It is made of a velvet fiber mats layer with sand and a slight crushed rock layer above. The rock manufacturing technique, exclusivity of Maton Sports, makes it less brittle and avoids the concreting of the court. This FRENCH COURT specific structure is solid and waterproof. It offers specific qualities such as softness of the coating which protects your joints, sliding and ball bounce. It allows to play tennis with pleasure and to see clearly where the lines are.

Watering with a sprinkler lance is really necessary.

Technical features

• Surface made of synthetic membrane weighted with sand, tufted in lines, rot-proof fibers, covered with clay.
• Unique fiber profile : elasticity, hardiness & comfort
• Velvet fiber : 100% polyolefin, Uv resistant.

Construction:

Installed directly on a stable base, preferably a draining asphalt mix, a resorbing, exclusivity of Maton Sports, for its water retention quality and substrate, it prevents the soil from drying out and deteriorating during severe droughts.

• 1^st lay : washed and dried silica sand (round) without glauconite of 0,4 – 0,8 mm and 21kg/m².
• 2^nd lay : FRENCH COURT specific clay +/- 7kg/m²

• Unique coat where the color is marked down to the core at a very high temperature.

• Marking lines – exclusivity from Maton Sports : PVC tensioned lines made in U of 4 or 5 cm wide, in white and clearly visible.

Maintenance and advice from Maton Sports

• Brush with a drag net after each use (catalogue Maton Sports)
• Sweep the lines 1x/week avec an articulated brush or a line sweeper machine.
• Add filling FRECNH COURT materials depending on the use.
• Remove the leaves with a blower (never use a vacuum-sweeper !)
• Observe the direction of passage of the drag net.

Maintenance during spring and autumn

• Control herbs, algae and moss with appropriate products.
• 1x/year : perform specialized maintenance to prevent the top layer of the court from closing.
